Sculptural Paper Class at SFCC This Fall

Jacqueline Mallegni will be teaching a sculptural papermaking class through Continuing Education at Santa Fe Community College in Fall 2017.

Shaping Space

Learn to transform fiber into beautiful textured paper, then “shape space” creating a 3D form exploring the elements of sculpture — form, space, line, texture, light, color and time. This paper can also be used with book arts, dying and painting techniques. During the six week course we will use flax, abaca and kozo fibers along with inclusions such as rusted metal, yarn, string, wire and plant material.
