Presented by the Santa Fe Book Arts Group
Saturday, February 18, 2023, 2 pm to 4:30 pm MT, online via Zoom
Suitable for beginner to advanced students, but you MUST be a current Santa Fe BAG member
$42 (see payment options below–check or PayPal); must be received by February 13, 2023
Participants will create two unique sewn books in this class with a bit of fun markmaking. We’ll paint two sets of watercolor papers with contrasting outside and inside covers. Then we’ll fold the pages for text blocks.
The first structure will be a sewn pamphlet with a clever slot-and-tab closure (see two top-left images).
The second structure will be a more advanced multi-signature book. (Large photo and images of red/orange/yellow book sample.)
These make great journals and gifts.
