I Love Momigami, a Presentation by Nicole White
Join Nicole for an exciting introduction to Momigami (moh-mee-GAH-mee), an ancient Japanese technique that literally transforms paper into fabric through the magic of konnyaku starch and some stress-relieving crumpling and kneading. Nicole will take us on a visual journey through some of Momigami’s history, showing stunning examples of momigami in fashion and book arts, then dive into a live demonstration of the transformation process. “This is truly a transformational and incredible technique,” she says.
