Celebrate the Month of Love with a day of creativity, reflection, and connection. The Heart is an Open Book is an intimate, in-person, one-day workshop devoted to exploring the heart as both symbol and source—of love, longing, courage, sorrow, and joy—through the art of handmade books.
Guided by artist-educators Victoria Rabinowe and Ro Gouletas, you will create personal artist’s books using two playful and versatile structures: the One-Page Wonder and the Accordion Book. These formats invite spontaneity while offering surprising depth, making them ideal vessels for heartfelt expression.
This joyful, contemplative day takes place at Victoria’s DreamingArts Studio, an inspiring and nurturing environment designed to support creative exploration. All materials are included, and no prior bookmaking experience is required—just curiosity and a willingness to listen to your heart.
