BAG at a Distance Digitally: An Online Meeting via Zoom
Thirty-one BAG members attended our first online meeting on Saturday, May 9, 2020. Check back here for details so you can join the next meeting.
The BAG Board continues to monitor the directives for New Mexico residents for precautions to the Coronavirus crisis, and strongly supports the need for limiting the spread of the virus as well as the use of social distancing.
With the closing of Santa Fe Community College for the rest of the Spring and Summer semesters we are without a venue for our meetings. We have canceled/postponed our May meeting and workshop with Moira Garcia with the hope that it could still happen in the future or when we find a way to use virtual teaching. Efforts are underway to look into options for members to learn about tutorials, videos, and teaching sites to support learning and creative expression.
Please check back here (the BAG website) often.
There are currently no BAG Programs scheduled for the months of June or July, but there are two (one-day) workshops pending for August. It is too far in the future to have any idea if those are possible, but we will keep the website posted with that information.
All other BAG activities are on hold as well, such as the Art Flea Market. It is currently unclear if 2020 Book Santa Fe, the national book show, will happen.
Thank you for your understanding and the Board will continue to explore options.
